Tile Work Recommendations

We used the "Grout Doctor," at our house in Berkeley, and
he vastly improved the grout seams around our bathtub and granite counters
in the kitchen. (April, 2008)

For safety reasons I had a bathtub
replaced with an elongated shower enclosure (same footprint as tub), a
walk-in with seat and grab bars. It's attractive and he was a superb
craftsman in doing a neat and flawless job. Of course he has other sizes
and shapes. Russell Bayerski is the competent, quiet young man. He runs
his own business called Artistic Bath and Shower, 925 228 2277. He had
quite a waiting list when I engaged him. This is not inexpensive, but if
anyone wants a look at mine, give me a call.

I hired David Martinez to do the tile work on my fireplace. He had to do
concrete work because I took out the old brick--that job was $600. He did a
good job and was reasonable. I supplied the materials and he completed the job
in two days for $900. His number is (510) 932 3389. (August, 2003)

I retiled the two
bathroom floors. Used Bob Weishuff Tile (510-232-0227) retired gentleman. Very
nice... very reliable (came when he said he would). Did a very nice
job...cleaned up every night. He is in the yellow pages under tile
contractors. (August, 2003)

The person that collaborated with me on my marble work has
his own business: Maxi Tile (Marco) at 510-657-2577. (August, 2003)
