They were very careful, positive, service oriented - and they came in under the estimate.    I had done all I could up front to prepare for them, but I moved from a rather 'nasty' driveway and two flights of outside stairs to reach the place. We had a fairly bad experience with Ben's Movers when we moved. They were late, flustered with a broken truck (understandable), and damaged a number of pieces of furniture, one of which we are quite sure they knew about at the time. We were too exhausted to deal with it, so we don't know how well or poorly they handle damage claims. They asked us to sign a waiver at the end of moving day (when we would have only noticed if the couch had been broken in two pieces)--probably standard, but there is a chance they would have responded to our complaints more  gracefully than they handled that particular day.
