Depending on the quality of cabinetry they're looking for, Sincere Plumbing in
Oakland is extremely cost-effective - it's where our Habitat
cabinets are made. Sincere has about 8 wood choices in stock at all times (can
be delivered in 2 weeks) and also order Kraftmaid.
Sincere's granite countertops are around $280 for 8 linear feet compared to
Home Depot's $84 per linear foot. I'm not sure if they sell their cabinet
doors separately but assume they will.

Advise our neighbors to stay away from the refacing company with the full page
ad in Sunday newspapers - I think it's Kitchenworks - I had them come out to
discuss refacing our existing cabinets, adding 4 small cabinets, and extending
the countertop . . . $27,000! Heard the same story from others. I then drew
out my design and an entire new kitchen with Thomasville cabinets will be
about $15,000 at Home Depot. (March, 2005)
