Jesse et Laurent is based in San Rafael and they come to the East Bay once a week (Monday, probably) They're a little more expensive than Home on the Range but better. The meals last all week so spoilage has not been a problem. It's a great alternative to cooking when folks work and commute until hunger sets in. We usually order 3 entrees, cooks a couple days and eat out occasionally. Then add our own veggies or salad. They have a $75 minimum so it's best to share a delivery with a friend if your order is too small. Checks, cash or credit not a problem. Some variations (vegetarian or different meats) possible. My mother in Oakland has started using Home on the Range and they seem to be okay. Would be great to have them willing to deliver to BYL/PR. Another service is Jesse et Laurent; food is very good but a little expensive. (July, 2008)
