Hi Ida - The co owner of Kensington Cleaners on Colusa Avenue a bit south of Fairmont Avenue does very good alterations. She also made us a coat lining without having recourse to a pattern. It's about 15 minutes away.... (May, 2005)
Someone was asking about alterations. Alterations to Go located in the Bon Air Shopping Center in Greenbrae is great. This is the shopping center where Mollie Stone's is located. You can usually have the alterations completed with a day or two is you need it. Otherwise it will take a few days. They are also reasonably priced (May, 2005)
Re alterations: I used a lady in the cleaners (can't remember the name) behind the new ARCO station on Richmond Parkway. The job was small but well done and timely. (May, 2005)
