If anyone would care to know about a good local caterer, I can recommend A Private Affaire at Marina Bay (telephone 510-799-7373). The owner, Liane, is inventive, careful, creative--and her helpers were perfectly trained and very observant and thoughtful. Many guests complimented the food, service, and presentation; the cleanup was beyond reproach. (September, 2008)
Here is the caterer we had for our party. We were very, very happy with them. They were easy to work with, very helpful with suggestions and information, and turned out to be the most reasonable cost-wise too. What more could you want! They have a catering menu, quite extensive, that you can choose from and are helpful with determining quantities if you just wish to buy the food. They help with setup and cleanup and leave the place the way they found it or better, as in our case. A neighbor in Pinnacle recommended them to us, and they did an outstanding job.
