Appliance Repair Recommendations

Mike's Appliance (510-223-8689)  does quality work. We have called them to fix our stove, washing machine, and dryer. In each case, they have done an excellent job. Courteous, dependable, and they provide accurate estimates. (August, 2009)

Mike's Appliance was very helpful when I needed to get advice about what to do when the 20 year old Hot Point range in our condo went out.  They told me what the estimate to repair it would be ($150 service call fee plus parts and labor), and also what an economic replacement would cost (under $300 for a basic range plus $60 for the installation and removal of the old range).  I chose to put in the new basic range.  Mike's Appliance is in Richmond on Appian Way, 510-223-8689. https://www.repairclinic.com/  my new fave, easy to use, locate any part for any appliance website. Add it to the newsletter, by all means. I had a 20 year old GE Potscrubber 600. Found the same part with easy to follow parts wizard, great pictures of the part to confirm that it was right. (December,  2006)

Ida.. I always (16 years....) have used  AM/PM Appliance service. House calls by Bill Homan............very nice guy...House call is about $80.  510 724-0807. He is reliable and very good. He has repaired my microwave TWICE!!!! (November, 2005)

Try 'Bud & Ray's' in San Pablo. They were recommended to me by Val Betti Plumbing, were very helpful/ "down-to-earth" by phone, and made a house call for a washer. The charge for the house call is deducted from the price of work you have them do. (November, 2005)
